I wonder how many of us, by now, will have either planted some seeds for our garden, or be thinking to do so? How wonderful and amazing it is to consider how these seeds, some so tiny and all quite plain to look at, hold within them the power to burst into life and grow into the most amazing things.
The planting of seed is mentioned by the Apostle Paul here in 1 Cor 3:6-8. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.  So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labour.

In our daily lives it’s very encouraging to remember that we are all being used to plant seeds or water and nurture in God’s work

Our Prayer – May God use us all to plant and water the seed of his Gospel, so that other people may come to know him too. Amen.
