Remembering

Queen Elizabeth II who died on Thursday 8th September 2022 will always be remembered with great fondness, for her example of great dedication & service to her country and crown as well as the remembrance of her strong and steadfast faith.

Here is just one of the many honouring statements she made to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. “To many of us our beliefs are of fundamental importance. For me the teachings of Christ and my own personal accountability before God provide a framework in which I try to lead my life. I, like so many of you, have drawn great comfort in difficult times from Christ’s words and example.” (Christmas message, 2000) .

Together we hold her family and our nation in prayer as her loyal presence was a significant part of the UK, Commonwealth, and other countries. What a blessing to know that she will now be in the presence of the King of Kings.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me- the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing. 2 Tim 4;7-8
