Ken joined us as pastor in August 2021 and is excited to be a part of the ministry of Burra Baptist church. Originally from the USA, Ken served churches in Texas and Florida working with youth and university students. Before coming to Burra, he served as the youth pastor in Pitlochry Baptist church for six years. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from the University of West Florida and a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth Texas. In 2020, Ken became fully accredited as a minister with the Baptist Union of Scotland.
He is joined by his wife Jocelyn and three children: Josiah, Audrey, and William. Jocelyn is a surface pattern designer and shares her work at www.jocelynnaquin.com.
